When I watch the news services, promoting a vaccine to control a corona virus (colds, flu, covid19), instead of allowing a natural immunity to build up, I despair. When I think that the entire surface population of a planet, this planet we call Earth, will allow itself to be injected with a laboratory engineered Rna sequence, I realise there is no hope for the future of humanity.
Why should any species, anywhere, take a special interest in a relatively new species of chimpanzee on a minor planet in a far flung corner of the Universe? A chimp species so absorbed in its own achievements, it believes it has harnessed the power of the atom, a building block of the material universe, when all it has done is realise the energy released by smashing two bricks together, to boil water in a big kettle.
It is Tolkeinesque to imagine an insane power, arisen on planet Earth that, globally, can inject an entire species population to create fully controllable orcs, not from elves, but chimps.
The depravity of such immense power, wielded by a breakaway civilisation capable of this act, is truly awful.
